Our
Team

Leadership

We trace our roots from being in comfortable air conditioned corner offices and routine jobs to getting our hands dirty for the love of nature. After all, getting our hands dirty brings forth a new generation of indigenous trees in public forests and agroforestry / fruit trees on private farmers' land. It takes courage to leave a corner office and delve into forest conservation, rehabilitation and protection. It is a passion and a priceless engagement that no amount of salary can satisfy. Our spouses and children are the most understanding people in the world!!!
When you join us, the passion must be loud, the presence must be infectious, the energy must be transferable and the never give up spirit must be evident. We are not your laid back, folded legs on the table NGO kinda people, who snack and hit keyboards and send “nice to the eye sweet to the ear” reports to partners. We say it as is and we give value to every penny that we receive. We price our services competitively and hedge the team and partners for the duration of the project.
We are hard knuckled, we get the job done and lean on each other for support, we psych each other, we let teams and individual members bring out their potential. We do not snoop and hover around people. Like eagles, we let our teams fly for as long as we are not losing track and stay focussed on the mission…………Planting and growing trees with a guaranteed Decent Wage and Decent Life (DeWaDeLi) .

Every tea estate is mandated by the law in Kenya to conserve a certain percentage of indigenous trees, native to the eco-zone. That is where Victor’s love for indigenous trees started. Read More
